Evaluation of the level of contamination of the sorghum produced in the regions of western Burkina Faso by aflatoxins: Sorghum is a cereal used as food in Burkina Faso. The results obtained in the laboratory, it appears that aflatoxins (B1, B2, G1 and) are present in 25.7% of samples at levels ranging from 11.67 to 207.31 mg / kg. The surveys show that the farming practices favorable to contamination by toxigenic molds factors are: the late harvest, drying practices without forgetting the agro-climatic conditions in the field. To this end, producer awareness on the issue of mycotoxins and their impact is more than urgent.
