Sasakawa Africa Association sensitization through ag extension

The focus countries (Uganda, Nigeria, Mali and Ethiopia) of Sasakawa Africa Association (SAA) have included Aflatoxin issues during the training of Trainers and of farmers. SAA is doing extension work in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture of each country through Direction of Extension.They are sensitizing the Extension Agents/Officers and farmers on the issue during training and by using the AFB1-Screen -Rapid screening test kit for detection of Aflatoxin B1 in grains.

Deploy our Lab-on-Mobile-Device platform on smartphones for use in Sub-Saharan smallholder farms and mills to quantify mycotoxins in grain and then develop an integrated new mobile ozone decontamination treatment system for infected material.
